Born in Zagreb, Croatia, he later moved to Germany, where he pursued both artistic and academic studies. His artistic journey includes early training in art and social sciences in Aachen, followed by studies in France and Italy, and decades of creative work spanning sculpture, installation, and painting. Artistic Language & Themes
A central focus of his oeuvre is the long-term project 173 Cathedrals, in which sacred architecture becomes a metaphor for human belief, history, and collective experience. In this project, cathedrals are reimagined as vessels of memory and spiritual energy.
